2005 was the first commercial release of Killiecrankie Shiraz. A very modest two barriques (450 litres) were produced. Since then, we have maintained our commitment to quality by releasing Killiecrankie Shiraz only when the wine has achieved our high standards. The current release is the 2012 has beautiful ripe black berries, plums, spice, liquorice and mint which jostle for attention on the bouquet. The palate follows with plush and seductive red and black fruits seasoned by toasty oak. Layers of fine, soft tannins caress the long palate to finish. Perfectly balanced for enjoying now or much later.
We are excited to introduce a new wine to our range, Lola Montez. The Lola Montez wines will always stand out from the crowd, whether it be the grape varieties or the style of the wines. The current realease is a young sprightly Tempranillo showing bright cherry and red berry aromas. On the palate the fresh fruits shine through and are tied together by a savoury undertone. A fresh enjoyable lively drink, we think Lola would approve.
